My passion for self-development and spirituality has led me to study social work, psychology, philosophy, and spiritual traditions. In my early twenties, I lived in China, where I trained in martial arts, meditation, and Tai Chi. These experiences, combined with my lifelong fascination with the human mind and the complexity of emotions, help me create characters that feel real, relatable, and deeply complex.
I hold a degree in social work with a focus on cultural anthropology, child development, the science of learning, and psychiatry. Alongside writing, I manage an after-school tuition centre in the Netherlands, where I teach high school students how to plan, learn and grow. I live in the Netherlands with my partner and daughter.
